Louisville at Perry Boys Soccer 2012

Louisville 4, Perry 2

After being locked in a 1-1 tie, the Louisville Leopards scored three consecutive second half goals and cruised to beat the Panthers 4-2 at Perry High School Saturday evening.

The lone first half goal came at the 28:30 mark of the first half when Riley Groves found the net for his second goal of the season.  Perry would then tie the game back up seven minutes into the second half.

Four minutes later Paul Fox delivered an assist to Micah Neuenschwander’s first goal of the Beatty's Sports Grey Louisville Athletics T-Shirtseason to give the advantage back to Louisville with 29:09 remaining.  Just 2:52 later, the Leopards struck again on a corner kick.  Groves served up a kick and Kyle Baker headed it home for the score.  3-1 Leps.

All that was left to do after that was bury Perry and Harrison Raub did with his third goal of the campaign at the 7:11 mark in the second half.  The Panthers came back with another goal late in the contest, but there would be no miracle comeback.  Louisville won the match 4-2 to improve to 2-1 on the season.
