Leopards Shutout Spartans 17-0 – Girls Lacrosse

The Louisville Leopards Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team shutout the visiting Boardman Spartans 17-0 Monday at Louisville Leopards Stadium. The Lady Leopards moved to 8-1 with the victory.
Katie Hollifield scored a game-high 7 goals and also had an assist to lead the Lady Leopards. Maddie Kirby also recorded a hat trick and an assist, Mandy Wesely finished with 2 goals and 2 assists, and Kloe Mercorelli also tallied a pair of goals for Louisville.
Wesely also won 8 of 12 face-offs and Lia Meckel finished with 5 saves in the crease. Maddie Bates also led the Leopards in ground balls with 4 and recorded 2 assists.
Haley Black, Cameron English, and Lana Ulrich all scored one goal and added an assist each. Marissa Vick also had an assist for Louisville who scored 10 of their 17 goals off assists.

UP NEXT: The Louisville Girls Lacrosse Team will next host the Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin Lions on Thursday, April 26. Varsity will play at 5:00 PM and JV will follow at 6:30 PM.
