Kalli Spehar scored a pair of goals to lead the Lady Leopards in their 8-6 loss to visiting Chardon in the season opener. Chloe Shadle, Kylee Murphy, Olivia Marcantonio, and Tess Golden also scored for LHS.
Will Aljancic scored a team high 7 and Hayden Nigro added 6 but Louisville fell to top ranked St. Vincent-St. Mary 61-21 to finish as DII Canton Regional Runner-Ups. The Leopards end the 2021-22 campaign with a record of 20-7.
Dominic Hoffarth won the 138 State Title and Pablo Castro finished as the 132 State Runner-Up at the DII State Tournament. Louisville had a record 6 wrestlers place during the tournament as the team took 3rd overall.
Will Aljancic poured in a game high 37 points in leading the Leopards past the Tarblooders 90-86 in overtime. Hayden Nigro also poured in 22 and Tyler Boldon added 12 as Louisville advances to its first Regional Title game.
Tyler Boldon scored a game high 17 points to lead the #2 Leopards past the #12 Tigers 63-56 in the DII Ashtabula District Final. Will Aljancic and Hayden Nigro also scored 15 points each as Louisville advances to regionals for the first time in 29 years.
Pablo Castro and Noah Peterson both won district titles as a team record 9 different Leopard wrestlers qualified for the state tournament. Blake Schaffer and Brendan Severs also finished as district runner-ups for LHS.
Will Aljancic scored a game high 20 points to lead #2 Louisville past #16 Canton South 49-48 in the DII Ashtabula District Semifinals. Tyler Boldon and Hayden Nigro also added 11 each as the Leopards advanced to their second district final in three years.
8 different Leopards won sectional titles and 11 qualified for districts as Louisville won its 5th straight sectional championship as a team. Champions included Kolten Barker, Dylan Rhoads, Pablo Castro, Dominic Hoffarth, Brenden Severs, Noah Peterson, Blake Schaffer, & Cameron Brazek.
Will Aljancic scored a team-high 18 points and Hayden Nigro poured in 17 points as #2 Louisville rallied back from 12 down to defeat visiting #15 Canfield 53-49 in the DII Ashtabula Sectional Finals. Tyler Boldon also scored 8 and Brayden Gross 5 as the Leopards improved to 17-6.
Dave Kerry rolled a 419 series to lead the Louisville Boys past visiting Marlington 2419-2021 on Senior Night. Madison Denzer rolled a 377 series to lead the Lady Leopards over the Lady Dukes 1714-1384 in the season finale.
