Girls Take 5th, Boys 13th at Cloverleaf Invitational

Alex Schooley paced the Leopards with a team-high 17 points as the Leopards doubled up the Lions in the 4th quarter to earn their first NBC victory of the year.
Brianna Libertore scored 17 points and grabbed 19 rebounds as the Louisville defeated Marlington 50-45, creating a three-way tie in the NBC loss column.
The Leopards Swim teams hosted a tri-meet Tuesday, the boys defeated Salem 79-9 & Poland 63-27, while the girls remained undefeated with victories of 79-12 and 59-34.
5 Quakers scored double digits as they sunk the Leps in double overtime 70-67. Jake O’brien scored a season-high 28 points for the Leopards, while Mike Kelly added 11.
Bill Lairson led Louisville with 9 points and Mike Kelly also scored 6, but a late run by the Wildcats ended the Leopards efforts just short 39-34.
Blake Hoover led the Leps with 9 points, while Austin Shaheen added 8, but Louisville still fell at home to Marlington 34-31.
Lucas Poyser won the 160-pound title as Louisville finished 19th at the North Canton Holiday Tournament. The Leopards also defeated Carrollton 37-33 earlier this week.
The Boys Basketball team defeated the Akron North Vikings 62-35 in earning their first victory at the new gym. Cody Cheezan scored 17 points & 11 different Leopards scored in the contest.
Louisville erased a 22-3 deficit on a last second three-pointer by Molly Brown. She had 17 points, while Clara Lemmon, Brianna Libertore, & Mackenzie Storlie also reached double digits.
