The girls varsity swim team defeated the Barberton Magics Friday evening at the Louisville YMCA 130-29, while the boys team fell to Barberton 88-81.
The Louisville Leopards boys freshman team is off to a 3-1 start in the NBC and a 3-2 start overall after defeating Carrollton, West Branch, and Canton South.
Molly Brown, Clara Lemmon, & Mackenzie Storlie each scored 12 points during the Lady Leps 61-25 win over the Lady Quakers. Louisville held Salem to just 4 points in the second half.
The boys team won by a count of 115-41 and the girls team earned a 117-49 victory over the St. Thomas Aquinas Knights Tuesday at home.
Cody Cheezan led the Leopards with a game-high 18 points, while Alex Schooley poured in 13 and Mike Kelly added 9. But the Leopards remain winless.
The Warriors hit 6 three-pointers en route to a 56-41 victory over the Lady Leps at West Branch Saturday. Brianna Libertore scored a season-high 21 points to lead Louisville.
Stephen Erickson scored the only basket in the final five minutes of the game to give the Warriors the 32-30 win. Jake O’brien led the Leps with 10 points.
Mackenzie Rankin received Runner of the Year in Division I Cross Country, Rod Hall was Co-Coach of the Year in Girls Tennis, & 11 Leopards made 1st Team All-County.
The Girls Swim team crushed New Philadelphia 129-38 and the Boys Swim stole one from the Quakers 89-77 in their home opening meet of the season.
