Dave Kerry rolled a 502 series to lead the Leopards Boys past the Hornets 2762-2484. Alysa Thornhill rolled a 264 to lead the Louisville Girls as they fell to East Canton 1672-1512.
Will Aljancic and Hayden Nigro poured in a game high 23 points each to lead Louisville in their 71-64 victory over visiting New Philadelphia. Tyler Boldon also finished with 11 as LHS improved to 11-2.
Katelyn Claugus captured first in the 200 and 500 Freestyle to lead the Louisville girls to a fourth place team finish at the Cloverleaf Stampede. Mike Conway placed in the 200 and 500 Freestyle to lead the Leopard boys as they took 15th.
Louisville Speech took 8th place in team sweepstakes at the McKinley Holiday Tournament.
Hayden Nigro scored a game high 17 points to lead the Leopards in a 31-30 road loss to the host Vikings. Tyler Boldon also scored 5 points as Louisville dropped to 7-2 on the season.
Brooke Haren scored a game high 13 and Kelsey Adelman added 6 to lead the Lady Leopards in a 57-37 road loss to the host Bulldogs. Courtney Barwick and Aubrey Thorne also tallied 5 each for 7-3 LHS.
Will Aljancic scored a game high 24 points to lead the Leopards past the Titans 52-43 at the Mount Union Classic. Tyler Boldon also finished with 8 and both AJ Lingenhoel & Beau Siegfried add 6 as LHS won their fifth straight.
Kolten Barker, Pablo Castro, Dominic Hoffarth, Noah Peterson, and Cameron Brazek all won by fall to lead the Leopards past the visiting Blue Streaks 44-30 on Alumni Night. Louisville improves to 3-0 with the victory.
Pablo Castro upset the 18th ranked 132 wrestler in the nation and earned Most Outstanding Wrestler honors in leading the Leopards to a 3rd place finish as a team. Cam Brazek and Blake Schaffer also took 1st in their weight classes.
