Louisville Speech Takes 8th at McKinley Holiday Tournament – Speech & Debate
McKinley Holiday Tournament: Louisville – 8th
“Last weekend, the Louisville High School Speech Team competed at the McKinley Holiday Tournament, receiving 8th place in team sweepstakes!
In Program Oral Interpretation, Kenna Dunlap got 4th, receiving her first state bid, and Camille Schmeid was 3rd place novice. In Declamation, Taryn Allgood got 7th and Tayleigh Folden got 9th.
In Duo Interpretation, Maggie and Megan Begue got 7th and Morgan Callan and Winnie Davis got 8th, along with top novice.
Kenna Gnes was 3rd place novice in Original Oratory and Kylie Daum was 3rd place novice in Humorous Interpretation. Also receiving top ranks were Jessie Stewart in Original Oratory and Katie George in Humorous Interpretation. Happy Holidays!”
