A few seconds later, junior guard Michael Vickers hit New Philadelphia’s tenth three-pointer of the contest from the top of the key to trim the LHS lead to 64-58 with 1:38 to play.

The Quakers would not get any closer as the Leopards cashed in on 7 of 8 free throw attempts in the final 87 seconds to ice the game. Lingenhoel, Nigro, and freshman guard Beau Siegfried were all clutch from the line in the final minutes to help Louisville seal the game. LHS would finish 23 of 26 (88%) from the stride, while New Philadelphia ended the night 6 of 7 (86%) from the foul line.
