Louisville Takes 3rd at Highland and 6th at Copley – Speech & Debate

Louisville Places 6th at Copley
Congratulations to Louisville Speech and Debate for their many successes at Copley where they earned 6th place in Large School Team Sweepstakes.
Kenna Dunlap earned 1st place in Programmed Oral Interpretation, receiving a bid to the state tournament. Jessie Stewart earned 3rd place in Original Oratory, receiving her fourth bid to the state tournament, effectively prequalifying her. Declan Deioma earned 4th in International Extemporaneous Speaking, receiving a bid to the state tournament.
Kylie Daum earned 5th place in Humorous Interpretation, receiving a bid to the state tournament. Chloe Millard earned 6th place in Programmed Oral Interpretation, receiving a bid to the state tournament. Alex Mohr earned 7th place in Programmed Oral Interpretation, receiving a bid to the state tournament.
Morgan Callan earned 9th place in Humorous Interpretation, and Kenna Gnes earned 9th place in Original Oratory.

In Original Oratory Jessie Stewart earned 2nd place and her third state bid. In Humorous Interpretation Katie George earned 4th place and her first bid to the state tournament.
In Programmed Oral Interpretation Chloe Millard earned 5th place and their first bid to the state tournament. In International Extemporaneous Speaking Declan Deioma earned 5th place and his second state bid. In Declamation Lauren Clarke earned 5th place and her first bid to the state tournament. In Humorous Interpretation Morgan Callan earned 6th place and her first bid to the state tournament.
Noah Capo earned 7th place in Lincoln Douglas Debate with a 3-1 record. Maya Baxter earned 8th place in Lincoln Douglas Debate with a 3-1 record. Joey Duncan earned 9th place in Lincoln Douglas Debate, also with a 3-1 record. Kaylyn Butler earned 9th place in Declamation. Alex Mohr earned 10th place in Programmed Oral Interpretation.
