Connor Wendt shot a career low 41 and set a new Louisville record by hitting all 8 fairways but the Leopards fell to the Warriors 178-184.
Noah Chaplik, Zach Fresenko, Nick Chaplik, & Noah Murray all placed in the top 10 as the Leopards won their third consecutive OHSAA Early Invitational.
Grayson Beamer caught a 65 yard touchdown pass from Colton Jones and Nathan Guiley scored on a 30 yard run, but the Knights defeated the Leopards 4-2 in the final scrimmage.
Hannah Baughman scored a goal and had a pair of assists to lead the Leopards past the Irish 5-0. Jenny Hamsher and Brianna Horton also added a goal & an assist each.
Paige Haren led all servers with 12 points and also had a game-high 51 assists, but the Leopards fell to the Vikings 29-31, 25-21, 19-25, 25-14, 12-15 in a five set season opening thriller.
The Leopards fell to the Defending State Champion Knights 28-0 in a one half Scrimmage at Dowed Field Thursday. Brody Hahn and Tyler Adams connected several times to lead the Louisville Offense.
All-State Runners Nick Chaplik and Zach Fresenko are 2 of 4 returning runners from last year’s team that finished 4th in the State. This looks to be one of the strongest teams to ever run at Louisville.
Megan Chatelain scored a pair of goals to lead the Leopards to a 5-2 win over the Knights in their final scrimmage. Jenny Hamsher, Tapanga Smith, and Hannah Baughman also netted goals for Louisville.
Kayla Pukys forced a third set in #1 Singles, but fell in a Super Tie Breaker to Marissa Madison as the Columbus School for Girls Shutout Louisville 5-0 in the season opener.
