Boys Golf Suffers 1st Loss Against West Branch

The Louisville Leopards Boys Golf team suffered their first defeat of the season at the hands of the visiting West Branch Warriors 178-184 Monday at Sleepy Hollow Golf Course. With the loss, Louisville drops to 2-1 overall and 2-1 in conference play for the season.
Connor Wendt led the Leopards by shooting a career low 41 and set a new Louisville Golf record by hitting all 8 fairways during the match. The previous record was 7 held by several differen Leopards.

Cameron Prasco continued shoot well by carding a 42 and Caleb Prasco finished with a score of 50. In addition, Darren Hester got on the scoresheet by shooting a 51 in his first varsity start.
The Warriors were led by Noah Wasosky who shot a match best 40. Rounding out the West Branch scorers were Ryan Sox 42, Blake Glista 47, and Brant Alazaus 49.
The win is the Warriors first over the Leopards since they swept the season series in 2012. Louisville had won the previous 6 matches in the series prior to Monday.
