Leopards Shore Up Road Victory at Lake 3-2 – Girls Tennis
Louisville won all three singles matches en rout to a 3-2 victory over the host Blue Streaks. Winners for the 8-4 Leopards included Rachel Kibler, Jo Menegay, and Sherilynn Mullett.

Paige Cole finished with 12 digs and 3 blocks but the Leopards fell to the host Dukes 16-25, 20-25, 22-25. Erin Hahn also had 12 kills, Lauren Siegfried tallied 13 assists, and Kaitlyn Baskerville was Louisville’s leading receiver.
Aubry Fankhauser scored the only Leopards goal on a second half corner kick, but the host Blue Streaks won the match 3-1. Louisville drops to 0-7 with the loss.
Morgan Cole won the David Ziesmer Jackson Invitational and Cassidy Kiko placed 4th to lead Louisville to a 2nd place finish as a team. Other top Lady Leopards finishers included Kayla Gibson, Nicole Israel, and Emma Patterson.
Miklos Hendricks placed 6th to lead Louisville to a 1st place finish as a team at the Pat Ritchie Invitational Saturday at Walsh Jesuit. Colby Adams, Scott Gronow, Logan Ison, and Sam Chleback all placed in the top 17 for LHS.
Rachel Kibler, Jo Menegay, and Sherilynn Mullett each won their singles matches a perfect 6-0, 6-0 as the Leopards blanked the Eagles 5-0. Both doubles teams won in straight sets as well for 7-4 Louisville.
Gabby Smith scored early to give Louisville a 1-0 advantage, but host Austintown Fitch scored the final 6 goals to take the match 6-1 Wednesday. The Lady Leopards are now 0-5 on the year.
Lauren Siegfried finished with 15 assists and 4 blocks during the Leopards 25-15, 25-27, 15-25, 11-25 loss to the Vikings Tuesday. Amanda Clark also had 15 assists, Emily Phillips had 13 digits, Paige Cole finished with 13 kills, and Kaitlyn Baskerville 9 points serving.
6 different Leopards placed in the top 10 for the Boys led by Miklos Hendricks in 3rd. The Lady Leopards were led by Emma Patterson who also placed 3rd as three Louisville runners finished in the top 8 for the girls.
Louisville fell to host Massillon 25-17, 25-19 and also lost to GlenOak 25-23, 25-21 and Canfield 25-11, 25-18. The Lady Leopards are now 1-3 on the season.
