The Louisville Leopards Girls Soccer fell to the host Austintown Fitch Falcons 6-1 Wednesday Evening at Greenwood Chevrolet Falcon Stadium. With the loss, Louisville remains winless at 0-5 to start the season.

Gabby Smith scored the only goal for the Leopards to give them an early 1-0 advantage in the 14th minute of the first half.

The Falcons would scored the final 6 goals of the contest to take the game. They were led by Katlyn Klasic who poured in 4 goals including 3 during the first half in a span of 3:54. Abby Knight, Sydney Spencer, and Bailey Fritz provided the assists for Klasic as Fitch quickly erased the early deficit with a hat trick of goals.

Knight also scored off a Marissa Gartland corner kicker with only 5 ticks remaining in the first half to give Austintown a 4-1 lead at the break.

The Falcons extended their advantage early on in the second half. Sylvia Direnzo netted a goal just over two minutes out of the gate. Gartland provided her second assist on the play. Klasic connected on her fourth goal of the match via a corner kick from Spencer who tallied her second assist. The score gave Austintown a 6-1 advantage with 29:42 left to play.

Fitch cruised from there as they doubled up Louisville in shots on goal 18-9 and held a 5-3 advantage in corners. The Leopards are now 0-4 against the Falcons all-time which includes an 0-3 mark in games played at Austintown.
