Louisville Suffers 3-1 Loss at Lake – Girls Soccer

The Louisville Leopards Girls Soccer Team fell on the road against the Lake Blue Streaks 3-1 Monday Evening at Blue Streak Stadium. With the loss, Louisville falls to 0-7 on the year.
Aubry Fankhauser scored the only Leopards goal off a penalty kick with 28:18 remaining in the second half. Kenzie Brown also finished with 3 saves in goal for Louisville.
The Blue Streaks doubled up the Leopards in shots 8-4 en rout to victory. Madi Vitt scored a pair of goals to lead Lake and Madison Pepper added the other. Sarah White also recorded an assist and Savannah Slider also had 5 saves in goal for the Blue Streaks.
The loss breaks a rare streak of 3 straight ties against Lake. Louisville is now 1-11-4 all-time against the Blue Streaks which includes a 1-7-1 record in games played at Lake.
