Lady Leopards Flawless Against United Local – Girls Tennis

The Louisville Leopards Girls Tennis Team shutout the visiting United Local Eagles 5-0 Thursday at Louisville High School. With the victory, Louisville is now 7-4 on the season.

The Lady Leopards swept all three singles matches with perfect 6-0, 6-0 victories. Rachel Kibler won in #1 Singles, Jo Menegay claimed the #2 Singles match, and Sherilynn Mullett earned victory in #3 Singles.

Both Louisville Doubles Teams also dominated in straight sets. The #1 Doubles Team of Amanda Plaskett and Jade Thomas won 6-2, 6-0. The #2 Doubles Team of Carleen Fouts and Bailey Menegay earned a 6-2, 6-1 victory.

The Lady Leopards have shutout the Eagles in each of their past 5 meetings and 13 times all-time. Louisville now leads the all-time series over United Local 22-0 outscoring the Eagles 99-11 in those matchups. This was the first match between the two schools since 2011 in Girls Tennis.
