Rachel Kibler and Katie Yarnall both won their singles matches to lead the Lady Leopards in their 3-2 victory against the host Knights. The #1 doubles team of Bailey Mengay & McKenzie Taylor was also victorious in two sets as Louisville improved to 3-0.
Louisville won every match in two sets as they shutout visiting Canton Central Catholic 5-0. Legendary Leopard Tennis Head Coach Greg Parrish was honored before the match and the LHS Tennis Courts were renamed in his honor.
Rachel Kibler won #1 singles 6-0, 6-1 to lead the Lady Leopards in their 3-0 rain-shortened victory over the visiting Eagles. Both LHS doubles teams also won in straight sets to help Louisville claim an opening day victory.
Rachel Kibler became Louisville’s 1st district qualifier since 2016 after winning her first 3 sectional matches. Sherilynn Mullett fell one victory shy of advancing to districts.
Sherilynn Mullett & Jade Thomas both won their singles matches a perfect 6-0, 6-0 to lead the Lady Leopards past the Magics 4-1 on the road. Kora Woolfe also won in #3 singles and the #1 doubles team of Bailey Menegay & Katie Yarnall also won in two sets.
Sherilynn Mullett, Jade Thomas, and Kora Woolfe all won their singles matches in straight sets to lift Louisville past visiting Manchester 3-2 on Senior Night. The Lady Leopards honored their three seniors before the game as they improved to 11-7.
Sherilynn Mullett won a perfect 6-0, 6-0 in #2 doubles as the Lady Leopards defeated the host Cardinals 4-1. Rachel Kibler, Jade Thomas, and the #1 doubles team of Katie Yarnall & Bailey Menegay were also victorious .
