Leopards Ride Singles to Victory At Nordonia 3-2 – Girls Tennis

The Louisville Leopards Girls Tennis Team edged out a 3-2 victory over the host Nordonia Knights Tuesday. With the victory, Louisville now holds a winning record at 8-7 on the season.
The Lady Leopards dominated singles play in winning all three matches in straight sets. Rachel Kibler earned a near perfect 6-1, 6-0 victory in #1 singles over Isabella Schuster. In #2 singles, Sherilynn Mullett defeated Olivia Leepart 6-3, 6-0. Jade Thomas also doubled up Alyssa McHugh in each set of her #3 singles victory 6-3, 6-3.

The Lady Knights won both doubles matches in two sets. The Nordonia tandem of Caroline Orzechowski & Maria Cundra defeated Louisville’s #1 doubles team of Katie Yarnall & Bailey Menegay 6-2, 6-3. The #2 Knights duo of Lexi Adams & Julia Frost downed the Leopards team of Ashley Dadisman & McKenzie Taylor 7-6, 6-2.
With the victory, the Lady Leopards are now 3-0 against the Lady Knights all-time since beginning play against them in 2018. Louisville is also 2-0 in the series in matches played at Nordonia.
