Girls Tennis Falls in Opener at Jackson

Alex Hollifield batted 3-for-4, Stephen Kerzan hit a double, and Jake Adams drove in a run to lead the Leopards in a 6-3 Sectional Final loss to the host Polar Bears Friday.
Louisville will travel to Perry on Monday, May 12 at 4:30 PM to face the Panthers in the Sectional Semifinals after drawing the 12th Seed in the DI Canton District Baseball Tournament Sunday.
The Leopards fell to the Polar Bears 9-5 Saturday. Garrett Yoder delivered a 2-run single and Riley Graybeal had an RBI Single as part of a 5-run Louisville sixth inning.
Autumn Heaton went 3 for 4 with a 2-run homer & a walk-off double to lead Jackson past Louisville 6-5. Annie Woolf had 2 hits & 2 RBI’s for the Leopards.
The Boys teams defeated West Branch 94-34 and the Girls team won 70-58 as they both moved to 3-0 on the year. The Girls win avenged their loss to the Warriors last season.
Annie Woolf drove in Katie Cozy three times and the two went 5-for-5 at the plate for Louisville. The Polar Bears scored 8 runs in the opening inning and won the game 10-6.
The Lady Leopards fell to the Lady Polar Bears 9-25, 8-25, 23-25 in the DI Uniontown Volleyball District Semifinals Wednesday. With the loss, Louisville finishes the season 13-11.
The Louisville Lady Leopards Girls Soccer team will host the winner of GlenOak-Hoover in the Sectional Finals on Thursday, October 17 at 7:00 PM.
The Louisville Leopards drew the 8th seed at the DI Austintown District Tournament Draw Sunday and will host the Perry Panthers on October 16 at 7:00 PM.
