Austin Beck, Riley Nieschwitz, and Garett Holleran all won 6-0, 6-0 to lead the Leopards past the visiting Comets 5-0. Both Louisville doubles teams won in straight sets as well as LHS improved to 3-1.
Louisville was shutout by visiting Canfield 5-0 in their home opener. The Leopards are now 2-1 on the season with the loss.
Riley Nieschwitz won #2 singles in straight sets 6-1, 6-1 to lead the Leopards past the host Tigers 3-2. The Louisville doubles teams of Carter Duskey & Cole Duskey and Garett Holleran & Isaiah Gray also won in straight sets as LHS improves to 2-0.
Carter Duskey & Cole Duskey won by a perfect count of 6-0, 6-0 in #1 doubles as the Leopards defeated the host Quakers 4-1. The #2 doubles team of Garett Holleran & Isaiah Gray and singles players Riley Nieschwitz & Ben Selby also won in straight sets.
Louisville earned 4th place in team sweepstakes at the Canton District Debate Tournament and had 21 students qualify for the state tournament. Select students also competed at the Three Rivers Tournament in Upper St Clair, Pennsylvania.
The Louisville Leopards Speech & Debate Team competed at the Carrollton Tournament this past weekend as well as honored their five seniors.
The Louisville Speech & Debate Team earned 6th in team sweepstakes at the Hoover Tournament.
The Louisville High School Speech and Debate Team competed at the Norton Tournament and received 4th place in team sweepstakes.
Tayleigh Folden was the champion in Declamation as Louisville Debate finished 5th at thew New Philadelphia Tournament. The Louisville Speech Team also took 7th at the Tusky Valley Tournament.
