Winning Streak Snapped at Green, 3rd Longest All-Time

They say all good things must come to the end and Louisville’s 14-game winning streak was no different. At Green, the Leopards fell to the Bulldogs 4-1 Wednesday evening in recording their first loss since their opening game against North Canton Hoover on March 26. The #2 doubles team of Ryan Shepherd and Michael Thomas recorded the Leopards only victory in the match by a count of 6-4, 7-6 (7-4).
The Leopards 14-game winning streak is the third longest in school history and the undefeated 17-0 team of 1979 is the only Leopards team to have a streak longer within a single season. Here’s a look at the longest winning streaks in Leopards Boys Tennis history:
