Louisville 195, Marlington 202

The Louisville Lady Leopards defeated the visiting Marlington Dukes 195-202 Monday at Skyland Pines Golf Club. With the victory, Louisville improves to 9-5 overall and finishes 8-2 in the NBC.

Sierra Townsend finished with a match low score of 42 to lead the Lady Leopards. Rounding out the scoring for Louisville were Summer Walters 50, Bailey Spring 51, and Aubrey Leone & Gabby Spehar who tied for the fourth score with 52.

The Dukes were led by Abby Canale who posted a 44. Hannah Canale 48, Rachel Speakman 49, and Kyla Kackley 61 were the remaining scorers for Marlington. The Lady Leopards are now 7-1-3 against the Lady Dukes all-time with a perfect 4-0 record against them at home.

Yesterday, the Minerva Lions edged the Carrollton Warriors 185-186 at Carroll Meadows to clinch the NBC Regular Season Title with a league record at 9-1. Louisville still has the opportunity to earn a share of the conference if they can win the NBC Tournament Thursday at Zoar Golf Club. VIEW GIRLS GOLF STANDINGS
