Girls Golf Defeats Perry and Fairless in Tri-Match

Louisville 189, Perry 201, Fairless 272

The Louisville Leopards Girls Varsity Golf Team earned two victories at the Legends of Massillon Wednesday. Louisville defeated host Perry 189-201 and also downed Fairless 189-272. With the wins, the Lady Leopards are now 5-2 overall on the season.

Bailey Spring shot a match best 44 to lead Louisville. Also scoring for the Leopards were Abby Beaver & Sierra Townsend who each shot a 46 and Gabby Spehar who finished with a tally of 53.

The Panthers were led by Destiny Johnson and Addie Martin who each shot a team best 46. Louisville is now 4-1 overall against Perry All-Time, which includes an undefeated 3-0 mark on the road in the series.

The Falcons were led by Lauren Dickey who shot a team best 62. Louisville is now 2-0 against Fairless in their short series history.

FALCONS SCORES: Lauren Dickey 62, KC Christner 67, Grace Dickey 70, Sami Strokes 73, Erica Lear 77. TEAM TOTAL = 272.

UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next host the Carrollton Warriors in a showdown for first place in the NBC on Monday, August 31. Tee-Time is set for 4:00 PM at Skyland Pines Golf Club.
