My Fit Life Personal Trainer Side AdThe Louisville Leopards Varsity Volleyball Team defeated the visiting West Branch Warriors in four sets 25-11, 21-25, 25-16, 25-20 on Senior Night Thursday at Louisville High School. With their sixth straight victory, Louisville improves to 16-5 on the season.


Lady Leopards Leaders

Lingenhoel Group - Arden and Lisa Lingenhoel - Cutler Real Estate AdSenior outside hitter Brooke Haren was the Lady Leopards top hitter with a team high 21 kills. Junior setter/defensive specialist Madie ElFaye was Louisville’s top server with 24 service points and 2 aces.

Other leaders for the Lady Leopards included senior setter Addison Burick with a team best 49 assists and junior defensive specialist Riley Walters who recorded a team leading 18 digs.


Leopards Jump on Warriors Early

Equitable Advisors - Bryce MathieLouisville came firing out of the gates for Senior Night. The Lady Leopards took an 11-0 lead from the onset and went on to take the first set 25-11. 

The Lady Warriors scored the first four points of the second set before taking the set 25-21 to even the match.

Issue 34 Levy AdLouisville responded by scoring the first 12 points of the third set in snatching the lead back with a 25-16 set win.

The fourth set went back-and-forth before West Branch took a four point advantage at 16-12 and later pulled in front 18-14. The Lady Leopards then ripped off the next five points and wouldn’t trail again after taking the lead at 19-18. Louisville closed the match on an 11-2 run overall in taking the fourth set 25-20.

Lady Leopards Win 9th Straight Vs. Warriors

The Lady Leopards have now defeated the Lady Warriors in 28 of their past 29 matchups including their last 9 meetings overall. Louisville has also won 13 of their last 14 matches against West Branch when playing at LHS.

The Lady Leopards finish the season 2-0 against Eastern Buckeye Conference schools. They also earned a sweep of the Aviators at Alliance on September 6 for their other victory over an EBC school.


Louisville Celebrates 4 Seniors

Prior to the match Louisville honored its four seniors Addision Burick, Brooke Haren, Kiersten Kendall, and Sloane Sypolt. Leopard Nation would like to thank these four players for their hard work and dedication to the Lady Leopards Volleyball program and wish them the best of luck on all future endeavors!

UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next host the Tallmadge Blue Devils on Saturday, October 14. JV will begin at 10:00 AM and Varsity will follow at 11:00 AM from Louisville High School.
