The Louisville Boys Track & Field Team defeated visiting Tuslaw 75-52 to improve to 2-1 on the year. The Lady Leopards earned their first victory of the season by defeating the Lady Mustangs 69-59 to improve to 1-2 on the season.
Brooke Haren hit a grand slam and drove in 5 RBIs as the Leopards nearly rallied all the way back in a 12-10 loss to the Vikings at the Duhon Memorial Tournament. Jenna Collins and Lauren Stillwagon also drove in a pair of runs each as Louisville fell to 7-7.
Matti Benson and Lauren Stillwagon both went 2-for-4, homered, and tallied 2 RBIs as Louisville rallied past Lake 7-5 at the Duhon Tournament. Kaylee Nolte hit a go-ahead 2-run single and Kenzi Denzer recorded an RBI single for LHS.
Jenna Collins and Lauren Stillwagon both recorded 4 hits but the Leopards fell to the Panthers 17-16 in the third highest scoring game in team history. Matti Benson and Kat Frase also went 3-for-5 and combined to drive in 5 runs for LHS.
Griffin Millspaugh improved to 10-0 on the season with a 6-2, 6-4 straight set victory in #1 singles, but the Leopards fell to the host Tornadoes 4-1 to drop to 5-5. Millspaugh has helped LHS avoid any shutouts against them this season, as he has recorded the lone point in all five of their losses.
The Louisville Boys fell at Boardman 93-44 to drop to 1-1 on the season. The Lady Leopards fell to the host Spartans 118-15 to fall to 0-2 on the year.
Matti Benson finished a perfect 5-for-5 and Shelby Mayle drove in 3 runs as the Leopards defeated the host Golden Eagles 10-7. Brooke Haren and Kaylee Nolte also had 2 hits each for 6-5 LHS.
Broc Pickens doubled and scored on a balk in the fourth inning for the Leopards who were run-ruled by the host Polar Bears 12-1 in five innings. LHS is now 5-6 on the season.
