Lady Leopards Shut Out in District Semifinal at Copley 1-0 – Girls Soccer

Evan Brown placed 42nd to lead the Leopards to a 14th place finish at the DII GlenOak District Meet enabling them to advance to Regionals for the first time in four years. Istvan Hendricks also placed 61st and Luke Boldon took 70th.
Owen DiMarzio ran for 132 Yards and Cody Zahler scored 2 touchdowns, but the Leopards fell to the visiting #10 ranked Lancers 35-24. Bryce Johnson also returned a fumble 70 yards for a touchdown as Louisville dropped to 5-4.
Taylor McCully had 8 kills, 12 digs, and 2 blocks to lead the #16 Lady Leopards to a sweep of the #21 Royals 25-23, 25-21, 25-22 in the DIII Northeast 1 Sectional Finals Thursday at Boardman. Dakota Gross also had 8 kills, Kloey Rukavina 3 blocks, Carlee Rhome 16 assists, and Emma Korah 15 digs as LHS improved to 14-8.
Maddox Mayle scored a pair of goals to lead the #19 Leopards in their 4-0 sectional final win over the host #18 Quakers. Carter Burton and Jax Lindner also added scores and Justin Keister recorded the shutout as Louisville advanced to districts for the seventh straight season.
Maddox Mayle and Carter Burton both scored first half goals to propel the Leopards to a 2-0 shutout over the host Black Tigers. Justin Keister earned his fourth shutout of the season in goal as Louisville finished the regular season 7-7-2.

Gianna Kruse broke the shutout in the second half with a goal via an assist from Emily Pauli, but the Lady Leopards fell to the host Golden Eagles 4-1 on Kick-For-A-Cure Night at Bob Commings Field. Louisville finishes the regular season 8-6-2.

Gabe Stoffer finished with 178 total yards and ran for two touchdowns to lead Louisville in its 27-14 road loss at Green. Luke Seaman also intercepted a pass on defense as the Leopards dropped to 5-3.
