The Louisville Leopards Varsity Baseball Team run-ruled the visiting Dover Tornadoes 16-2 in five innings Monday evening at Andy Aljancic Field. With the victory, Louisville improves to 7-5 on the season.

Louisville Varsity Leopards won big over Dover Varsity Tornadoes 16-2 on Monday at Louisville High School.
Louisville Varsity Leopards got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Brady Hart induced John Baker to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored, and a wild pitch scored two runs.
Louisville Varsity Leopards scored five runs on four hits in the bottom of the second inning. Luke Seaman singled, scoring one run, one run scored on another play, Grayson Brunoni doubled, scoring two runs, and Jake Beard singled, scoring one run.
Louisville Varsity Leopards added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Seaman grounded out, and Zander Triplett singled to center field, each scoring one run.
Louisville Varsity Leopards scored six runs on three hits in the bottom of the fourth inning. An error scored one run, Seaman drew a walk, scoring one run, Jimi Crilow doubled, scoring two runs, and Cody Zahler doubled, scoring two runs.
Caden Kortis began the game for Louisville Varsity Leopards. The hurler surrendered three hits and two runs over four and one-third innings, striking out five and walking three. Hart stepped on the bump first for Dover Varsity Tornadoes. The righty surrendered one hit and four runs (three earned) over one and one-third innings, striking out one and walking three. Max Roberts appeared in relief for Louisville Varsity Leopards.
Louisville Varsity Leopards accumulated nine hits in the game. Seaman led Louisville Varsity Leopards with three runs batted in from the number nine spot in the lineup. The outfielder went 1-for-2 on the day. Triplett led Louisville Varsity Leopards with three hits in three at bats from the leadoff position. Beard collected two hits for Louisville Varsity Leopards in three at bats. Louisville Varsity Leopards had patience at the plate, tallying nine walks for the game. Brock Leghart and Kortis led the team with two walks each. Louisville Varsity Leopards ran wild on the base paths, collecting four stolen bases for the game.
Brayden Bergeron provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Dover Varsity Tornadoes with two runs batted in. The outfielder went 1-for-2 on the day. Leadoff hitter Liam Mast led Dover Varsity Tornadoes with two hits in two at bats.
Louisville Varsity Leopards will travel to Jackson for their next game on Thursday.
