Madison Gruber shot a team low 39 to lead the Leopards past the Panthers 165-175 and the Crusaders 165-226 in a tri-match Wednesday. Katie Bice also shot a 40, Abby Davis 42, and Karli Redinger 44 for 12-0 Louisville.
Hunter Foley scored the Leopards only goal in their 2-1 road loss against the Panthers Saturday night. Clayton McLaughlin also had 7 saves in goal for Louisville who falls to 1-3-1 on the year.
The top seed Louisville Leopards were shutout by the 2nd Seed Perry Panthers 9-0 in the DI Massillon District Championship game Thursday. Louisville is now 22-2 on the season and finishes as the District Runner-Up for the first time since 2013.
Austin Cummings scored with 2 outs in the seventh to break the shoutout, but Louisville fell at Perry 7-1. Jackson Kandel, Dillon Rebuck, and Bryce Zuppe had the only hits for LHS who falls to 17-6.

Rylie Squire’s 3-run triple in the bottom of the fifth completed the Leopards rally against the Panthers in an 8-7 victory at Hillsdale. Kaycee Ollis, Shae Thomas, and Lexi Zavarelle all had 2 hits each for undefeated Louisville.
Max Hartline had the only Leopards hit in their 6-0 shutout loss to the host Panthers in scrimmage action Tuesday. Tyler Jackson also struck out 2 on the mound and Dom Mongiardo worked a scoreless frame.
