Louisville Suffers 56-23 Loss at Perry – Girls Basketball

Cohen Rogers scored a game-high 19 points and Cayden Balcomb finished with a double-double as the Leopards won their home opener against the Panthers 52-45. Brandon Sanders also added 6 and Drake Wilson had 5 for 2-0 Louisville.
Carter Burton scored the game-tying goal with 28:45 remaining via an assist from Raiden Lindner as Louisville tied visiting Perry 1-1. The Leopards are now 6-6-2 on the season.
Anna Sirohman went 3-for-4 with a go-ahead RBI double in the 7th as the Lady Leopards rallied back for a 5-3 win over the host Panthers. Bailee Griffith also homered for the fifth consecutive game as Louisville improved to 5-7.
Kaiden Barker, Aric Criss, Beau Nezbeth, and Wyatt Smith all finished fourth at the DI Hoover District Tournament and qualified for the state meet. Colton Rhoads also took fifth as the Leopards finished fifth as a team.
Courtney Barwick scored a game-high 22 points, but the Leopards fell to the visiting Panthers 44-36 in their home opener. Mabel Kiko also finished with 14 rebounds to go along with 6 points and Ezela Manko added 8 points as Louisville dropped to 1-1.
Carter Burton scored the Leopards lone goal in their 2-1 loss to the host Panthers. Louisville is now 6-6-2 on the season with the loss.

Courtney Barwick scored a game high 19 points and Brooke Haren added 15 as Louisville edged host Perry 51-49 Saturday. Taylor McCully also scored 7 as the Lady Leopards improved to 11-4.
Brady Adams scored a pair of second half goals to lead the Leopards in their 2-0 win over the visiting Panthers. Noah Emmons also set a team record by recording his 9th shutout of the season as LHS improved to 10-2-3.
