Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025 Triumph Over Perry Panthers

Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025 topped Perry Panthers 5-3 on Monday.
Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025 were the first to get on the board in the first when Bailee Griffith hit a solo home run to left field.
Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025 committed an error, which helped Perry Panthers tie the game at one in the bottom of the first.
In the bottom of the fourth, Perry Panthers broke up the tie when Ana Covey hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run. Then a single by Addy Campbell followed to extend the lead to 3-1.
Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025 tied the game in the top of the fifth thanks to a single by Anna Sirohman, and a double by Addy Campbell.
In the top of the seventh, Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025 broke up the tie when Sirohman doubled, scoring one run. Then a single by Leah Claugus followed to extend the lead to 5-3.
Katelyn Miller earned the win for Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025. The pitcher gave up seven hits and three runs (zero earned) over seven innings, striking out nine and walking one. Anna Keller started in the circle for Perry Panthers. The starting pitcher allowed six hits and three runs over six innings, striking out five and walking two.
Sirohman went 3-for-4 at the plate and led the team with two runs batted in. Kaitlin Twinem and Campbell each collected multiple hits for Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025. Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025 turned one double play in the game.
Delaney Deitrick set the tone at the top of the lineup, leading Perry Panthers with three hits in four at bats. Covey and Campbell were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in one run for Perry Panthers. Keller collected two hits for Perry Panthers in three at bats.
Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025 play at home on Wednesday against Strasburg-Franklin Varsity Tigers in their next game.
