Adams Scores Twice in Final 15:05

Issue 34 Levy AdSenior Brady Adams needed just one assist coming into the game to pass his brother Riley Adams for most career assists in Leopards history. Instead, Adams found the back of the net twice himself to help lead Louisville to victory.

The game remained scoreless through the first 64 minutes of action. Adams, using some nifty moves, broke the deadlock with 15:05 remaining in the match. He dribbled east-west from about 20 yards away from the goal before freezing the Perry defender with a quick move to the left. He then shot with his left foot between two more Panther defenders, past the extended arms of the Perry goalkeeper, and into the right side of the net to give the Leopards their first lead of the contest.

Louisville’s defense would hold Perry at bay throughout the remainder of the game. Adams added an insurance goal with 48 seconds to go via a free kick to remove all doubt.

Emmons Sets Team Record with 9th Shutout

Senior Noah Emmons recorded his team record 9th shutout of the season during the victory. Emmons surpasses his predecessor Joe Reynolds who finished with 8 shutouts during the 2020 season.

Emmons has now recorded four consecutive shutouts and will look to match the record he already set earlier this season with a fifth straight shutout when Louisville hosts Dover Tuesday.
