Lady Leopards Golfers Place 2nd, Metzger is Medalist
The Lady Leopards Golf Team placed second at the NBC Tournament at Great Trails Golf Course in Minerva Thursday.

Katie Warga led the Lady Leopards with the top score in 3 out of the last 4 matches, while Adrienne Metzger had the top score in the other match. Louisville down Central Catholic & Minerva, while falling to Lake & Salem to move to 5-5, 3-2.
Katie Warga shot a 48 and Michaela Lee was right behind her in shooting a 49 to lead Louisville. Also scoring for the Leopards were Adrienne Metzger (52) and Summer Walters/Bailey Spring (58).
Michaela Lee led all Louisville scorers after shooting a 46 for the day and Katie Warga also shot a 48. The Lady Leps are now 2-2 on the season.
Katie Warga shot a team-best 54, but it would not be enough as the Lady Leopards fell to the Lady Lions 216-233 at Edgewood Golf Course Thursday.
The Lady Leps defeated Salem 210-213 to start the season, fell to Green 179-215, & took 10th in the Tri-County Preseason Tournament. Katie Warga’s team best score of 87 earned her 1st Team at the Tournament.
The Lady Leopards outlasted the Salem Quakers 392-397 to capture not only the tournament title but the first ever NBC Crown for the sport.
