Dominic Hoffarth, Garett Lautzenheiser, Jax Leonard, and Brent Paulus all record 2 pins as the Leopards shutout the Tigers 78-0 and defeated the Falcons 55-7. Louisville is now 6-0 on the season.
Garett Lautzenheiser, Jax Leonard, and Davin Rhoads all took 1st place in leading the Leopards to a 2nd place finish as a team at the North Canton Holiday Tournament. Blake Robbins also took 2nd and Brent Paulus came in 3rd.
The Leopards crushed the host Boardman Spartans 70-15 and Lakeside Dragons 65-12 in a tri-meet to improve to 4-0. Garett Lautzenheiser, Davin Rhoads, and Brent Paulus all had pins in both matchups to lead LHS.
Louisville demolished West Branch 68-10 before blanking host Northwest 80-0 tying their largest win in team history. The Leopards won 26 of 28 individual matches and pinned 17 opponents during the tri-match with the Warriors and Indians.
Nathan Guiley ran for 118 yards and scored 3 touchdowns as the Leopards rolled past the Big Blacks 40-21. Davis Burick also finished with 104 yards of offense and caught a touchdown pass as Louisville improved to 5-3.
Garrett Lautzenheiser, Jax Leonard, and Brent Paulus all won by pin to lead the Leopards in a 35-27 loss to the host Beavers Thursday. Cameron Brazek, Blake Robbins, and Davin Rhoads all won by decision for now 8-1 Louisville.
Louisville Wrestling defeated Marlington 52-24 in the NBC Opener Thursday at LHS. Winners by Pin included Garett Lautzenheiser, Ryan Jakubiak, Davin Rhoads, Carter Mickley, and Jax Leonard.
The Leopards finished 3rd as a team at the NBC Meet after finishing 7-0 in league dual meets. David Rhoads, Daniel Kennedy, and Josh Hoffman also qualified for state at the OAC District Meet.
