Paige Cole finished with 41 kills and Sydney Bast recorded 30 digs as the Lady Leopards went a perfect 6-0 in sets at the Austintown Fitch PINK Quad. LHS defeated Austintown Fitch, Boardman, and Struthers to improve to 9-5 on the season.
Miklos Hendricks placed 3rd to lead the Boys and Cassidy Kiko took 5th to lead the Girls as both teams took 1st place for the second straight year. Logan Ison, Bobby Ganser, Colby Adams, and Kayla Gibson all finished in the top 10 as well.
Justin Shafer shot a team best 89 to lead Louisville to a 7th place finish at the Canfield Cup held at Tippecanoe Country Club. Ryan Aljancic also shot a 95, Sam Karcher 98, and Logan Yadrnak 100.
Sarah Cantley struck out 14 batters en rout to her 50th career victory as the Leopards beat the Falcons 10-2 on Senior Night. Alex Fankhauser also ripped a 3-run homer as Louisville improved to 16-3.
Lacy Harvey, Davin Rhoads, Carter MicKley, Jax Leonard, Brent Paulus, and Blake Robbins all had pins for the Leopards in their 48-18 win over the Falcons. Louisville also beat the Howland Tigers 64-3 and now sits at 5-0 for the season.
Spencer Hall scored a game-high 20 points through three quarters as Louisville demolished Austintown Fitch 71-38 in the home opener Friday. Scotty Gronow also scored 11 and Cam King added 10 for the 2-2 Leopards.
Cami Nau finished with 13 points and 5 aces and Erin Hahn had 17 kills as the Leopards defeated the Falcons 23-25, 25-18, 25-17, 29-27 at home Saturday. Lauren Siegfried also recorded 13 digs and 4 blocks on defense, Paige had 4 blocks, and Amanda Clark registered 31 assists.
Gabby Smith scored early to give Louisville a 1-0 advantage, but host Austintown Fitch scored the final 6 goals to take the match 6-1 Wednesday. The Lady Leopards are now 0-5 on the year.
Louisville blanked visiting Austintown Fitch 5-0 to move to 4-1 on the season. Rachel Kibler, Jo Menegay, and Sherilynn Mullett each won their singles matches and both doubles teams won in straight sets.
