Louisville Earns Road Win at Massillon 157-204 – Girls Golf

The Louisville Leopards Girls Golf Team defeated the host Massillon Tigers 157-204 Tuesday Afternoon at The Legends of Massillon. With their second straight duel victory, Louisville improves to 4-2 on the season.
Strouse Tallies Match Low 36 to Lead Leopards
Senior Erin Strouse shot a match low 36 to lead the Lady Leopards. Louisville’s top four golfers all finished with lower scores individually than Massillon’s best. Senior Abby Davis shot 39, and sophomore Peyton Biery and senior Alexis Ralston posted 41 each for LHS.
Rounding out the Lady Leopards varsity participants were senior Lauren L’Amoreaux who finished with 49 and junior Kylie Wallace who tallied 50.
Maag Leads Massillon with Team Low 45
Massillon was led by Delany Maag who shot a team low 45. Other scorers for the Lady Tigers included Morgan Hannon 47, Peyton Findlay 49, and Chessie Hathaway 63.
With the victory, Louisville is now 3-0 against Massillon all-time with previous wins over the Tigers in 2017 and 2018 at Pleasant View Golf Club. This is the first time the Lady Leopards challenged the Tigers on their home course The Legends of Massillon.
