My Fit Life Personal Trainer AdThe Louisville Leopards Girls Soccer Team fell to the visiting Marlington Dukes 5-2 Wednesday Night at Louisville Leopards Stadium. With the loss, Louisville is an even 1-1-1 on the season.

Natalie Lab and Morgan Keelan each scored goals for the Lady Leopards. Lab found the back of the net in the first half via an assist from Gracie Bush. In the second half, Mady Brown provided the assist on Keelan’s goal.

Calli Swisher scored a pair of goals in each half to lead Marlington to victory. Swisher also provided the Dukes only assist on a second half goal by Hailey Contalone.

Marlington held a 2-1 lead at the half and outscored Louisville 3-1 in the second half on their way to victory. The Leopards lost despite holding an 18-16 edge in shots and a 7-3 advantage in corner kicks. 

The away team has now won in each of the past 4 meetings between the Leopards and Dukes. Marlington leads the all-time series 10-7-1, which includes a 6-2-1 record in games played at Louisville.
