Louisville Swept by OCC Champion Wooster – Volleyball

The Louisville Leopards Varsity Volleyball Team fell to the host Wooster Generals 25-12, 25-17, 25-20 Thursday Evening at Wooster High School. With the loss, Louisville drops to 9-11 on the season.

Davis Leads Leopards Serving and On Defense
Senior libero Emma Davis led the Lady Leopards in serving and on defense. She finished with a team high 8 points and 4 aces at the service line. On defense, Davis recorded a team leading 14 digs.
Sophomores AJ Burick and Sloane Sypolt led Louisville on offense. Burick recorded a team best 16 assists and Sypolt finished with a team high 7 kills.
The Lady Generals have now defeated the Lady Leopards in each of the past three seasons. Wooster finishes the regular season 18-1 with the win.

UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next compete in a tri-match at GlenOak on Saturday, October 16. JV and Varsity will take on Massillon at 11:15 AM before playing host GlenOak at 12:30 PM.
