Leopards Fall to Vikings in Four Sets on the Road – Volleyball

The Louisville Leopards Varsity Volleyball Team fell to the host North Canton Hoover Vikings in four sets 12-25, 25-23, 13-25, 24-26 Thursday Night at Hoover High School. With the loss, Louisville drops to 4-6 on the season.
The Lady Leopards were led on offense by senior outside hitter Reagan Vanover who registered a team-high 10 kills. Sophomore AJ Burick also recorded a team leading 23 assists.
Top servers for Louisville included senior outside hitter Kelsey Adelman and junior defensive specialist Kaitlyn Kardohely who had 6 service points each. Sophomore middle hitter Brooke Haren and Kardohely also tallied 2 aces a piece.
Senior defensive specialist/libero Emma Davis led the Lady Leopards on defense with a team leading 15 digs. Sophomore middle hitter/opposite hitter Sloane Sypolt also had 3 block assists for LHS.

Leopards Vs. Vikings Volleyball History
With the loss, Louisville has now lost 4 of their last 5 matches against North Canton Hoover, which includes 2 of the last 3 played at HHS. The Lady Leopards are now 5-14 against the Lady Vikings since rally scoring was instituted in 2004, which includes a 3-7 mark when playing at Hoover.
