Leopards Remain Alone in First on Both Diamonds

BASEBALL
Louisville 13, Canton South 9
Louisville scored eight runs in the first two innings and staved off a Canton South comeback in earning a 13-9 win. The victory keeps the Leopards alone in first place by a game and avoids what would have been a five-way tie in the loss column for the NBC lead. Chad Neff led the Leopards offense going 3-for-4 with a home run and four runs driven in. Mike Kelly started the game on the mound for Louisville pitching six innings, striking out nine, walking none, and giving up three earned runs. Riley Groves and Jeremy White also pounded the Wildcats for two hits each and every single Leopard hitter scored in the contest.
