No-Hitters Seven Years Apart

Miller’s five-inning no-hitter against Akron Ellet came seven years to the day after Sarah Cantley threw a five-inning no-hitter against the same Orangemen in a 25-0 DI Sectional Final win to begin the Lady Leopards’ 2019 postseason state title run. Both pitchers allowed just two baserunners in their no-hit performances.

Cantley also threw a five-inning no-hitter against Canton South on that same date, May 8, during the 2018 season.

The no-no is the second of Miller’s career. She also threw a five-inning no-hitter in Louisville’s 33-0 sectional win over Bedford on May 15, 2025. Miller’s latest gem also marks the 18th recorded no-hitter in Lady Leopards Softball history.

The Lady Leopards are now 3-0 against the Orangemen all-time, with all three victories coming at home.
