The Louisville Leopards Boys Soccer Team fell to the visiting undefeated #10 ranked St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish 6-1 Tuesday Night at Louisville Leopards Stadium. With the loss, Louisville falls to 4-2 on the year.
Porter-Kovacich Scores Leopards Lone Goal
Freshman Dominic Porter-Kovacich scored the Leopards lone goal via an assist from sophomore Drew Dillen in the second half. The goal is Porter-Kovacich’s team leading 4th of the season and the assist is Dillen’s team best 3rd of the year.
Powell Scores Twice to Lead Irish
Andrew Powell scored a pair of goals to lead St. Vincent-St. Mary. Diego Pinto scored a goal and registered two assists. Glory Hser also netted his team leading 7th goal of the season to go along with an assist for the Fighting Irish.
Other goal scorers for St. Vincent-St. Mary included Mitchell Brown and Michael Puglia. Andrew Hagey, Joey LaTrashe, and Cullen Sivak also notched assists for the Irish.
Louisville Vs. SVSM Boys Soccer Series
The Leopards still hold a 2-1 record over the Fighting Irish all-time dating back to 2019. Louisville won at St. Vincent-St. Mary 4-1 last year and also defeated the Fighting Irish 3-1 the previous year on October 8, 2019.

St. Vincent-St. Mary is currently ranked #10 in the latest Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association DII State Poll. They remain unbeaten at 8-0 for the season with the victory.
UP NEXT: The Louisville Leopards Boys Soccer Team will next travel to take on the Marlington Dukes on Thursday, September 16. JV will begin at 5:00 PM and Varsity will follow around 7:00 PM.

The Louisville Leopards Boys JV Soccer Team was doubled up by the visiting St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish 2-1 Tuesday Evening. With the loss, the Louisville JV fall to 4-2 on the season.
Damien Lowder scored the Leopards only goal of the game.
