Kaitlin Twinem went 3-for-3 with a 3-run triple & an RBI double to lead the #18 Lady Leopards past the host #16 Fighting Irish in the District Semifinals. Anna Sirohman also went 2-for-3 and Katelynn Miller struck out 6 earning the win in the circle as LHS improve to 14-13.
Brock Cole recorded 9 kills and Cale Lindner added 15 assists as the Leopards fell to the host Fighting Irish 19-25, 19-25, 22-25. Kyle Deem also had 7 digs and Ayden Mihelic 3 aces as LHS fell to 4-3.
Katelynn Miller struck out 10 and Leah Claugus hit a 2-run triple to lead Louisville to a 4-2 win over host St. Vincent-St. Mary at Firestone Stadium. Mara Mayle also had an RBI double as LHS improved to 2-1.
Kylah Meyer placed 5th and Amelie Anderson took 8th as the Louisville Girls took 8th in a 21-team field. Rounding out the Lady Leopards top five were Madelynn Bailey, Stella Blommel, and Izzy Babock.
Adler LaScola scored a pair of goals and added an assist to lead #17 Louisville in their 5-4 overtime loss to host #15 St. Vincent-St. Mary in the opening round of the DII, Region 6 playoffs. Blake Balderson and Seth Colley also scored goals as the Leopards finished 4-11.
Addy Campbell and Bailee Griffith both homered as the Lady Leopards defeated the visiting Fighting Irish 9-7. Katelynn Miller and Kaitlin Twinem also had 3 hits each as Louisville improved to 3-6.
Brock Cole served up 4 aces, Kyle Deem led the back row with 18 digs, and Braden Frank added 4 kills as the Leopards fell to St. Vincent-St. Mary 17-25, 20-25, 17-25. Louisville is now 2-5 on the season.
Blake Balderson scored 4 goals to lead the Leopards in their 8-4 win over the visiting Fighting Irish. Seth Colley and Adler LaScola also added 2 goals each as Louisville improved to 3-1.
Tate Aljancic scored a team-high 15 points and Brayden Gross dropped in 14 as the Leopards defeated the visiting Fighting Irish 61-46 in a battle of top ranked teams. Ashton Marshall also scored 13 and Beau Siegfried added 11 as Louisville improved to 14-5.
Matti Benson broke the LHS career home run record and then recorded a multi-homer game the next day as Louisville finished 3-0 at the Duhon Tournament defeating GlenOak 7-4, St. Vincent-St. Mary 23-5, and Alliance 11-0 to improve to 13-1 on the season.
