Pukys & Sullivan Win Flite 1, Louisville Takes 2nd at Own Classic
Louisville’s Jake Pukys and Adam Sullivan defeated Austintown Fitch’s Josh Herington and Austin Prestridge 6-1, 6-0 in the Championship match of Flite 1 of the Louisville Doubles Classic Saturday 
morning. The Leopards captured second place as a team with 13 points, while the Perry Panthers took the Classic with 21.
After a bye in the first round, Pukys & Sullivan defeated Perry’s Adam Ranalli & Joe Moline 6-4, 6-2 in the Semifinals which propelled them into the final match.
The Leopards doubles team of Ryan Shepherd and Hunter Williams were also runner-ups in Flite 3. They fell in the championship game to Perry’s Collin Burick & Noah Ott 6-4, 6-1. On their road to the championship Shepherd & Williams beat Alliance’s Colton Shearrow & Nick Hilbert in the Quarterfinals and North Canton’s Kyle Pecenko & Corey Riddle in the Semifinals.
Louisville is also now 11-1 overall in dual matches and a perfect 7-0 in the NBC. Since our last update they defeated GlenOak 4-1 at home before hitting the road to beat Salem 5-0, West Branch 3-2, and United Local 5-0. The Leps will play back-to-back matches against Canton South on Monday & Tuesday. A win in either one of those matches will give Louisville the NBC Title outright.

UP NEXT: The Leopards will next travel to Canton South to take on the Wildcats on Monday, April 29 at 4:15 PM. A win over the Cats will give the Leopards the NBC outright.
