This is the first time the Leopards have hosted the Panthers since both teams were still in the Federal League back in 1988. Louisville previously lost at Perry 19-25, 14-25, 18-25 in 2018. Our records indicate that the Lady Leopards won the previous four matches over the Lady Panthers prior to that. These four matches included sectional tournament matchups and meetings at the McKinley Invitational in the late 1990’s.
