The Lady Leopards Freshman Squad has gotten off to a hot start by earning road wins over Akron Hoban 35-26 and Copley 51-10 and picking up a home opening 47-17 victory over North Canton.
Jordan Monnot led Louisville with 16 points, Clara Lemmon scored 15 points, Hollyann Mullett added 14 points, and Hannah Lemmon poured in 13 points. The combined 143 points is a Lady Leopards Record.
The Leopards Freshman Squad defeated Canton South 46-37 Monday evening and also earned a 51-31 at Minerva Saturday to move to 4-0 on the season.
Ronnie Carter and Blake Hoover the Leopards with 15 points a piece as Louisville defeated Howland 58-50 to capture their first win of the season at Lake High School Saturday evening.
Jordan Monnot scored 18 points and Hannah Lemmon added 12 as the Louisville Lady Leopards knocked off West Branch 50-38 at Louisville High School Saturday Afternoon.
Allison Richmond, Ashley Smith, & Amy Yu both finished in first place in 4 different events for the girls. While Caleb Walters also placed first in 4 different events for the boys.
Alex Schooley scored a game-high 12 points for Leps and Alex Hollifield scored 7 of his 11 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Leopards in comeback after being down 10 in the first half.
Dakota Oliver won by technical fall, while Mark Robison, Dale Welsh, Anthony Kirkbride, John DiAntonio, and Dane Dugan won by decision but it was not nearly enough to overcome the Warriors 5 pins.
Matt Eddins hit 5 three-pointers and scored a game-high 20 points to help lead the Freshman Leopards to a 44-34 win over West Branch Thursday. Kyle Ashcraft also scored 8 points & Alex Hall led the defense.
