On September 28, 2001, the Louisville Leopards traveled to West Branch and earned a nail-biting 7-6 victory over the first place Warriors.
After a scoreless first half, West Branch got on the board first on a 1 yard touchdown run by Robert Stull. However, the extra point try failed leaving the score at 6-0 Warriors. Stull also caught 2 passes for 52 yards to lead West Branch.
