Kadan Swope scored the lone goal for LHS as the Alumni prevailed 3-1 in the annual Alumni Boys Soccer Game. Chris Walters, Riley Adams, and Bailey Adams all scored goals for the Alumni who were led on defense by goalkeeper Clayton McLaughlin.
Morgan Keelan scored 5 goals to lead the Lady Leopards past the Alumni 7-4 Saturday at Louisville Leopards Stadium. Payton Allan and Natalie Lab also scored goals for LHS and Amelia Henderhan finished with a number of key saves in goal.
Diana Pukys was Louisville’s only district champion in the 800 Meter Run as the Lady Leopards finished 10th as a team. Placing second for the boys were Austin Smith in the 400 meter dash and the 4×400 meter relay team as Louisville took 9th. Colby Adams, Owen Pukys, and Emma Springer also qualified for regionals in individual events.
JT Popick batted 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI single to lead the #9 Leopards in their 7-1 loss against the host #2 Quakers in the DII Louisville Sectional Finals. Kaedin Gotshall and Connor Morley also had hits for Louisville who finishes with a final record of 15-13.
Jacob Davide scored a pair of goals and recorded a pair of assists to lead the #7 seed Leopards in their 10-9 loss to the visiting #8 Lions in the second round of the DII, Region 6 boys lacrosse tournament. Bryce Rebuck and Tyler Shadle also scored a pair of goals each as LHS finished the season at 10-6.
Connor Morley threw a complete game, struck out 8, and also hit a 2-run double to lead the #9 seed Leopards past the visiting #21 seed Wildcats 8-2 in the DII Louisville Sectional Semifinals. Ryan Aljancic, Caleb Miller, and Charlie Roberts also recorded 2 hits each as LHS improved to 15-12.
Louisville took first place in 5 relay events en rout to winning the Jason Manse Crusader Relays. Bobby Ganser and Dale Stauffer won individual events for the Leopard boys who placed second as a team.
Broc Pickens and Tony Brahler combined for a 1-hitter on the hill as the Leopards defeated the host Quakers 5-1 at Tuscora Park. Zack Seaman also went 2-for-3 wit ha 2-run double in the 7th as LHS finished the regular season 14-12.
