Louisville rallied back from a 3-run deficit to down visiting West Branch 5-3 to clinch a share of the NBC. Andrew Gray pitched a complete game and struck out 10 and Cam Lingle batted 2-for-3 with the go-ahead double in the sixth as LHS beat the Warriors for the first time since 2014.
Jack Davis and Caleb Prasco each drove in runs, but the Leopards fell on the road to the Warriors 5-2. Both teams are now 11-1 in the NBC and will face off against on Thursday.
The Leopards outhit the Warriors 6-4, but it was West Branch who won on the scoreboard 5-0. Connor Zwick led Louisville with 2 hits.
Alex Hollifield, Jordan Hughes, and Garrett Yoder led the offense by driving in 2 runs each. Nine different Leopards crossed the plate, which included both Joey Duckworth and Kyle White scoring twice.
The Warriors Jeff Vizzuso pitched a complete game 3-hit shutout and struck out 6 to lead West Branch past visiting Louisville 10-0 in 5 innings back on April 9.
Connor Ruffier & Dillon Stertzbach each had three hits each and Mike Kelly went the distance as the visiting Louisville Leopards defeated the West Branch Warriors 10-3. Kyle White & Garrett Yoder each had a pair of hits as well for the Leopards.
