The Louisville Leopards Varsity Baseball Team upended the host West Branch Warriors 11-1 Wednesday Evening at West Branch High School. With the win, Louisville improves to 14-7 on the year.

Louisville Varsity Leopards sailed to an easy victory over West Branch 11-1 on Wednesday

West Branch opened up scoring in the second inning. Jeremiah Thomas hit into a fielder’s choice, scoring one run.

Louisville Varsity Leopards pulled away for good with four runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Cam Atwell’s sac fly scored one run for Louisville Varsity Leopards, an error scored two runs for Louisville Varsity Leopards, and an error scored one run for Louisville Varsity Leopards.

Louisville Varsity Leopards put up four runs in the sixth inning. Louisville Varsity Leopards put the pressure on, lead by a single by Connor Morley and a home run by Karson Siegfried.

Cole Miller earned the victory on the pitcher’s mound for Louisville Varsity Leopards. The righty went seven innings, allowing one run on three hits, striking out four and walking one.

Anthony Perry took the loss for West Branch. The hurler lasted four innings, allowing four hits and four runs while striking out two.

Louisville Varsity Leopards launched one home run on the day. Siegfried went for the long ball in the sixth inning.

Louisville Varsity Leopards had 11 hits in the game. Siegfried, Morley, and Andrew Corona all had multiple hits for Louisville Varsity Leopards. Siegfried led Louisville Varsity Leopards with three hits in three at bats.
