Softball Surges Past Salem 12-2 to Extend Winning Streak

The Lady Leopards rallied to scored 6 runs in the top of the seventh to down the host Warriors 8-5 in a crucial NBC matchup. Kylie Zifer hit a game-tying 3-run homer and Grace Jackson also went 3-for-4 with a solo blast.
GlenOak shutout Louisville 6-0 in the first game, but the Lady Leopards came alive to take the second contest 8-3. Katie Cozy & Grace Jackson each homered and Emily Cantley went 3-for-3 with 3 doubles in the 2nd game.
Kyle Zifer homered and drove in 5 runs & Katie Cozy hit a walk-off 2-run bomb to lead the Lady Leopards to a 13-2 win over the visiting Quakers. Louisville is now 5-4 overall and 5-0 in the NBC.
Morgan Harris fanned 13 Alliance hitters to lead Louisville in a 15-1 5 Inning road win. Emily Cantley also cracked a 2-run homer and batted in 4 runs as the Lady Leopards improved to 4-0 in the NBC.
Louisville fell to the Hillsdale Falcons 7-4 in the first game and then lost to the host Keystone Wildcats 8-1 in the second contest. The Lady Leopards are now 1-3 on the season.
Grace Jackson & Peyton McKeever each homered for Louisville, but the Lady Leopards fell to the visiting Panthers 13-2.
Grace Jackson finished 2 for 3 with a 2-run homer and 3 RBI’s to lead the Leopards to a 7-6 come from behind victory over West Branch.
Louisville tied Riverside 4-4 and also fell to Warren Champion 3-0 in two shortened scrimmages at the Kent State Field House. Peyton McKeever had 3 hits & 2 RBI’s and Grace Jackson had 2 hits & 2 runs.
The Lady Leopards defeated the Lady Knights 8-1 in scrimmage play Saturday. Peyton McKeever drove in two runs and Riley Bobo also scored a pair of runs to highlight Louisville.
