Davis Burick batted 3-for-4 with a solo homer as Louisville won at Marlington 8-4. Bryce Zuppe also hit a 3-run triple, Cam King cracked a 2-run single, and Andrew Gray earned the win on the mound as the Leopards improved to 8-0 in the NBC.
Cam King batted 2-for-4 with 2 RBIs and 2 Runs Scored to lead Louisville past visiting Marlington 11-5. The Leopards scored their most runs in an inning since 2010 to improve to 7-0 in the NBC.
Jordan Hughes proved 3 hits, Connor Zwick & Stephen Kerzan drove in 2 runs each, and Zach Shea scored twice. However, the host Dukes won the contest 10-6.
Joey Duckworth hit a walk-off single in the 10th and drove in 3 runs, Kyle White went 4-for-4 with 5 runs, and Seniors Jeremy McQuilkin, Riley Groves, and Kyle White were honored for Senior Day.
Pavin Parks went 3-for-4 and scored the only run of the game in the Louisville’s 3-1 loss at Marlington. The JV squad beat the Dukes at home on a seventh inning walk off as Jake Adams pitched a complete game shutout.
Marlington scored five runs in the first inning last Wednesday and finished off Louisville Tuesday night 8-2. Chad Neff hit a 2-run home run for the Leopards only runs of the game.
